Repress Jorden Hodgetts (aka Cleric) is back on Clergy with a powerful solo EP. Opening with the high tempo track "Angel of Death", a creative paradigm of vocals layered over rolling chords, and piercing atmospheres. Leading into "Luddite", a track that brings another type of energy. Suited to desolate warehouse spaces, Jorden really starts to paint a picture to the 19th Clergy release. "Acid Reflux" takes control of the B1. Distorted 303 acid lines and focused drums are paired with a subtle mystical vocal. The final track of the EP "Pretty Poison" draws your attention towards the twisted synth stabs, while keeping momentum through the driven drums that Cleric has been know for over the years.
