Number 13 is at the center of many superstitions, some consider it to bring bad luck. We at Rave Or Die believe instead that number 13 always delivers happiness, success and even ecstasy to the mass. In particular when it gathers altogether two heavyweights from the dance music culture on the label's thirteenth release. On the A-side we find Self Reflektion boss stranger in an acidic distorted exercise, injecting on "Motief" the perfect balance between pounding techno beats a la 90's Axis release and Woody McBride 303 loops and a little "je ne sais quoi" to make you jump on the dancefloor. On the flipside, ROD mastermind fates the heavy artillery with "Shut Up And Dance", a nod to the now defunct and eponymous mythic Rave London label. Distorted yet irresistible electro techno tones characterize this pure ravey anthem calibered for spacious warehouse with a generous sound system. Raw techno tracks all the way from two masters of the genre!
